We are a local Mortgage company, I need ideas outside of the box. Not little pens, or key chains. Something that is different. Please share your ideas. Thanks
Flashy lights, motorized gadgets, large, bold, flouresent lettering that spells FREE! Make a big deal on your easy financing terms, lowinterest rates, brief application process. Pay attention to what other mortgage companies are “bragging” about and try to “one up them”. Chances are the bigger companies are doing research / have the right knowledge indicating what consumers are wanting / consider their TOP priority. Good luck and God bless you!
Signage, definitely. Not too many brochures, they’re a waste of money and people throw them out without reading them, most times.
Who are you targeting? Hispanics are attracted by some features that other cultures may not be attracted to.
American Express’ Open website has some great ideas for marketing plans, etc. May be nice to just hoover around
I have to admit I’m really no authority on this issue so I honestly don’t have a good answer for you. Sorry…
A local celebrity or “hero” always draws a crowd, free food and drinks, maybe even a game – like wheel of fortune where they have the opportunity to win prizes. Try a drawing and ask for business cards or have them fill out cards to win some “grand prize” like an iPod – and collect the names and addresses of some potential clients!
How about a daily or even an hourly “Grand Prize” drawing for free refinancing- i.e. no fees. This will draw people who are interested in refinancing their mortgages and filter out those who have no interest and it will get you a list of names and addresses for advertising. PLUS there’s practically no cost to you!
Those giant vertical air tubes that blow around are great. They come in different themes, like Uncle Sam or just plain colored tubes. we used them one during a similar local event and you could see them. Also, our small business chooses a local children’s charity to donate to from the proceeds of the event. This garners a lot of attention, plus you are doing good for the community.
