What are my job prospects coming from the Rutgers University Business School (NB) with a Marketing Degree?

When I scout out job listings online and look at salary calculators, I only find low-paying jobs (20-30k) or positions that someone with a lower GPA and/or less-prestigious school would likely get.
Meanwhile, many articles in top business magazines and websites say average marketing salaries in my area (NJ-NY-CT) should be much higher, at 40-50k.

I was in the Rutgers Honors Program, have just above a 3.5 GPA, actively participated in many extracurricular activities, clubs, and groups, and held a variety of successful internships at large regional companies in the NY-NJ metro area.

Any insight?
