I went for an interview in a marketing department in one of the biggest fashion companies where I live. At the end, the manager gave this task where I have to come back with new idea for a grand opening event for one of the companies fashion brand. The brand is clothes for teenagers (boys & girls), trendy, funky, hip hop style.

Looking for a party planner for sis’ 30th b-day or a decent size venue to hold 30 ppl in Chicago… any ideas?

I’m trying to be real creative with my sister’s 30th surprise b-day party and would like to do some type of “Hollywood” or “Murder Mystery” theme where we have actors or the guest are the actors but have no idea where to start. I’d like to host it somewhere in downtown Chicago and plan on inviting no more than 30 people. I don’t know whether to try to plan it myself and find a venue or to just locate a party planner or event company. Prob is I don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on this since we’ll probably also have to book hotel rooms in the city too.

I’ve tried to do some research online but haven’t gotten very far. Any suggestions appreciated! The event would be in September.

I’m looking for ANY kind of tips on how to started an online business that does promoting?

Hey business gurus (hopefully at least one of you is), I’m thinking of starting an online business that would be involved with promoting other people’s businesses/ideas/events.

I am 18 years old and currently in high school. I’m only looking to use this as a way to potentially have a source of extra revenue.

If you have any tips on how to start an online promoting business or have done so yourself, I’d greatly appreciate any information you could provide.

Even if you have some kind of experience involving either online businesses of any kind -or- promoting of any kind, get me up to speed!

Creating a business- What are parents looking for in a day care?

Hi, this semester for school I’m taking business. I’m hoping every parent can help me. The teacher divided us into groups and he let each group choose the business of his choices. Well my group chose “Kids Community College Day Care” … I don’t really like the name but we aren’t allowed to change it =). Well I am a parent and I know what my expectations and what I look for a day care. But I wanted to know the different opinions on expectations of other parents (what are you looking for in a day care-what type of learning, pricing, activities, sports, etc..). We are trying to create a day care that offers something new that will help your child in the future. From the ages 4 months to 12 years old. Thanks in advance.
well the reason we wanted to set the ages from 4 months-12 years old is because it is very difficult for me to find a day care that would take care of my child while at I’m at school or work. Especially trying to find a day care that I trust and has a reasonable price..
They always said my child is too young. Ofcourse we wont put them all together. We want to create age groups. Thanks for posting =)
