There are plenty of easy fundraiser ideas out there to be found. Like the local school your children attend or the neighborhood little league your son plays baseball for. Especially for groups that are considered to be on the smaller side of the scale. If you need to raise some money for the kids, there are some easy fundraiser ideas just a click away.

Are you searching for an idea to raise money for a local cause? There are all kinds of folks out there with experience that have easy fundraiser ideas and can give you some help and good advice. It is not as challenging as some would lead you to believe. One idea that is popular with the ladies is having a bake sale. I have gone through the motions with that concept before and never will again.

With so many easy fundraiser ideas out there, I feel that idea is one of the worst. You would have thought these people were planning a dinner for 25 guests on a holiday. While we were going through the list I heard comments back and forth about who was good in the kitchen and even more about who was not. What type of table should be used and the size we would need. The type of table cloth that would be best and the color of it. I was pulling my hair out at this point. Telling myself, “When I was thinking about easy fundraiser ideas, I did not expect all of this.”

When I felt all the details had been gone over, to my surprise, there was still much to cover. Decisions had to be made on what would be the best time of day and where it would be held. I felt like I was with shopping with my mother at a nursery for flowers. At that time I thought to myself, “There has to be other easy fundraiser ideas out there that do not bring on all this stress.”

It could be for a business, a school or any type of group or organization that is non profit and just needs to raise some funds. There are easy fundraiser ideas out there that do not require all the hassle. So when I got home that evening, I decided to look online for some ideas. I came across quite a few.

There are some easy fundraiser ideas that require making a few, simple decisions and nothing more. Like getting a table to setup and a place where you can hold it like a shopping center. Getting some type of material to offer those who donate was the easy part. I found one that is a manual that I think everybody should have a copy of. I am an advisor for our yearbook club, and we would like to put on pudding wrestling as a fundraiser. We did this at my school about 10 years ago while I was still a student. I’d like to try to organize this event, but I have no idea where to find a company that provides this kind of entertainment. I’m in northern NY, very close to Canada. Thanks in advance for any info!

We are a vacuum and cleaning supply company. We are handing out flyers to every school in our city as well as advertising via radio. The parents of the students that make a purchase with this flyer or by mentioning the radio ad, we will give a percentage to the school of their choice. Now we just need a catchy name for this “event”. Got any ideas?

If you’re planning a college fundraiser, you might want to consider a few tips to make your event more effective and simple. The best way to do this is to utilize available resources from volunteer organizations and companies. Therefor, idea number one is to turn to the community.

Asking for help will help you fill your people power needs without breaking the bank. It’s always good manners to at least feed your volunteers. Help can also come in the form of donations from businesses who will support your cause. If you gather enough items, you could auction them off to bidders- everyone loves the excitement of a good auction.

Alternatively, you could make a door prize or hold a bingo game for prizes. Make the most of any help you can get and you will most the most of your event. Another college fundraiser idea might be to offer debit cards to students. Banks pay a fee to your event for each person that signs up. This makes things simple because you can pass out applications and need not host an event at all. Which leads into our next category, which is to go online to streamline.

Consider an online partnership with one of the larger retailer websites. Each site has slightly different policies with regard to fund raising. Generally, a website is generated that lists items you choose for sale for your cause, or you can leave it open as to what items can be purchased for your college fundraiser. I’m on a committee for my office in which we plan 2 weeks of fundraising events to benefit local charities every year. We are always looking for new and fun events that can be done (preferably with low cost to the company). In the past we have done lunches such as tacos or potato bar; Jail lock in – where secretaries and staff must be bailed out by the boss if they want them to work; Auctions – silent and live; karaoke party; mini golf tournament around the office, etc…

Does anyone have any fun event ideas that would produce profits and be fun for everyone???
