What are some ideas or suggestions for my company’s 2nd annual christmas party?

I am coordinating my company’s 2nd annual Christmas party and am in desperate need of suggestions.

Last year we did it at Dave & Busters so there were pool tables and an open bar – the whole party was planned for us. Dave & Busters was a bit too far so we need to host it closer to the office this year and I am not able to find anything in the area with pool tables – I have only been able to find baquet halls. I am considering using a banquet hall and having it catered but I need some suggestions for events or entertainment. It would be great to be able to find somewhere with pool tables but I can’t find anything local.

WeI’d also rather not do a gift exchange.

Any ideas?

for my company’s christmas party, im looking for a “party room” or ballroom to accomodate about 70ish people (more or less). Does anyone have ideas as to where i can throw it. It Needs to be near newport news, hampton, williamsburg, chesapeake, yorktown etc just in hampton roads period. Thats all and thanks alot for your help

I’m on the “Company Christmas Party Committee” at work and it’s my responsibility to come up with ideas for entertainment. And quite honestly, I have no idea what to suggest.

I’ve browsed on Yahoo and Google, and I’m still absolutely clueless about what sort of activities to suggest. For the past 2 years we’ve done trivia, and we definitely want to avoid doing that again this year (or anything too similiar).

The party will have roughly 40-55 total guests, separated between 6-8 tables (if that’s helpful), but the potential activities can be
focused on either teams/groups OR individual participation. We want something appropriate (humor is fine, just something appropriate).

Potential activities should also not be very physical. We’ll be having a sit-down dinner and will be conducting the event afterwards. Potential activities should last between about 1-3 hours.

Does anyone have any ideas for a company Christmas party?

My office is going out for dinner and after that we are doing a secret santa. In addition, we are going to have some sort of event, such as a mystery dinner. Does anyone have any other really fun ideas, perhaps something unique that we could do to make it fun? Thanks.

I am on the A-Team at my company,the A-Team is responsible for coming up with ideas for company events.2 years ago we all went to Savannah.left on friday after work on a charter bus,had our party at the hotel there,dressed formal and got back on the bus to return on Sunday.The company always supply a room for the night because of the drinking at the party.Last year we had casino night at Stone Mountain it was really fun.The year before that we had our party at the Hyatt in Buckhead got a room on Saturday,party that night continental breakfast sunday morning then left after that.Some ideas that others have given are Agathas,Mickeys Disney Night in Florida or maybe returning back to a outing that we have already done.Please help me with some nice places that would be great for a company of 50 people.
