She didn’t want to date, but got angry when I didn’t want to go to parties?

I worked with this girl. I was in a serious relationship at the time and didn’t want to socialize much with my co-workers, just wanted to keep it strictly business.

So this girl would stare at me and would flirt all the time. She flirted with other men too so I didn’t take it to mean much.

She kept inviting me to happy hours and such. I would go but leave early because of said reason. She kept trying to get my attention and when I ignored her she got mad.

I wasn’t very happy in my current relationship, so I asked her out with me and we went out to a bar.

I asked her out again, and she didn’t answer and just started acting uncomfortable around me, so I ignored her again, but then she got pissed.

She invited me to another happy hour, and I went, and then she invited me to a float trip she was planning. I said I might be interested, but decided I wasn’t and told her.

After I told her, we ran into each other in the parking garage and it was raining. She held the umbrella over my head and then jerked away leaving me standing in the rain.

I tried to talk to her, but she denied that there was anything wrong. I told her I was leaving the firm and sorry I wasn’t interested in her group activities, and she got REALLY mad.

At my going away party, she acted like everything was cool but then when she was leaving she jerked away again without saying goodbye, and that was the last time I saw her.

What the hell happened?
