Professional Engineering Student Organization?

I am running an engineering student organization in my university. I have contacted over a 100 companies asking for speakers or field trips or any sort of event but no company reply backs and the ones that do, refuse to participate. What should I do? I really want to arrange some events involving companies. Any ideas?

Let me introduce myself. My name is Kiyoshi Sera. I’m an SFSU Engineering Alumnus circa 1977. I live near the university. I come to audit classes from time to time. Last year, I helped a senior student for his project.
