I’m looking for ideas for a grand opening for a fashion shop?

I went for an interview in a marketing department in one of the biggest fashion companies where I live. At the end, the manager gave this task where I have to come back with new idea for a grand opening event for one of the companies fashion brand. The brand is clothes for teenagers (boys & girls), trendy, funky, hip hop style.
Bring a national fashion figure in for a design type contest to have the winning entry manufactured.
The grand opening will include a performing hip-hop artist. (keep it clean and keep it to the daytime to avoid problems) Depending on the location, you might also include a car show with emphasis on tricked out hip-hop type vehicles (Escalades, Dodge Hemi, etc) Also make sure you have plenty of urban models wearing the clothes.
Go the PR route. Hold a fashion show/ party as the event. But a week or so beforehand hold an open audition for on-the-night models. Tell the papers, put a small ad in one or two of them, start a MySpace page, all advertising for teens who personify the brand’s style, then get great news coverage when the trendy young things queue out of the door. Then more PR when you unveil the face of the store…
get kids off the streets and hold a fashion show and the kids that participate get a free outfit of there choice there will be kids begging to be in it
