big problem in your first statement: Assuming the house will appreciate that much is a BIG assumption, and would take many years for that kind of equity to accrue. Plus, an ‘investor” wouldn’t be able to access their profits of $500 unless a “majority” of 5,000 of them agree to a sale??? Yikes.
