Anyone pissed about AIG’s spa retreat?

AIG still owes my company over $2,200 in overpaid premium from an audit for the ‘06-’07 policy year. I can’t seem to get an answer as to when I should expect my money. Then I hear we bail them out with $85M and within the same month they spend $443K on a SPA retreat for executives. Where is the justice?

Heads better start hanging is all I can say. That would also go for those Politicians who have been involved in all this mess.

You will not be receiving any money from AIG. They have spent the money on spa treatments, massages, manicures and hookers…..I hope the government makes them pay back the money to the taxpayers.

Yes. Just as I am pissed about Fannie/ Freddie forgiving the mortage of a 90 year old woman who shot herself. This stuff is already happening right after bailouts. I can only imagine the other things we have yet to discover.

Yeah, of course I am. Then the Republicans say, “well, it’s really needed to help retain the employees after the company’s crisis.” If that isn’t a lame excuse! If the employee cares that little for the company, let them go. You don’t go out and spend tons of borrowed money on massages when you are bankrupt. No wonder the Republicans racked up the national debt when they think like that.

Its all in their court. Once insurance companies get your money they don’t want to give it back. Over the years I heard all about how private business is the way to go, well yes it is, if you want a thousand dollar a night hotel room. But not if you want to replace the babys crib you lost in the fire, you get fractional value and it takes three months if you are lucky for anything at all to come in.

Pissed more than you know… I can’t imagine borrowing money from anyone (let alone the GOVERNMENT) in order to fund, of all things, a vacation… I, personally, don’t think AIG is long for this world- I can’t imagine anyone opting for AIG for any service without considering this LARGE blemish.
