Anyone has attractive ideas for Booth Attractions? Something uncommon and eye catching?

The Company i work for will be participating in an International event in the US this year, and I am trying to find ideas for attracting the events attendees.
Pens, notepads, mousepads & such stuff are so common. Can anyone help me with uncommon and attractive ideas?

Have a cool door prize … this will encourage people to provide you with their contact info. The movie idea is good as well. That way people can watch it and learn about your product in case you can’t talk to everyone. Have some kind of gadget or trick toy that is fun to watch and check out… this should draw some people as well. What ever you do make sure it ties into your brand

In the March 2007 issue of Exhibitor Magazine, there is an article called “What About Bobbleheads”. According to the article the salesman started giving away bobbleheads and that has lead to an increase in leads by 1,367 percent!
The salesman claims people love them and he has a very crowded booth. He has his bobbleheads custom made by Bellevue, WA based Alexander Global Promotions. You’ll have to order the back issue to read the full article or you might could find a copy somewhere.

Here are a few ideas that should bring a lot of people to your booth:

    1) Sweepstakes. Have visitors sign up with their contact information and give them a numbered ticket. On the afternoon of the last day, hold a public drawing. The first prize does not have to be expensive – a book, dinner for two, etc. Check with
the trade fair officials to get permission to hold the sweepstakes.

    2) A cup to hold pens and pencils. Around the cup would be a schedule for the season’s games (football, baseball, basketball etc.) along with the company name, logo and contact information.

    3) A pedometer. Pedometers are in great demand these days when everyone is trying to reach that 10,000 steps per day goal. Include company name, logo and telephone number on the frame.

    Hope this helps.

There is nothing more compelling than a pretty woman to get people in a conference to stop by your booth.

Men’s head will turn as they walk by. It sounds stupid but is true.

Stay away from the standard corp. messaging. Put the 5 or 6 words on your sign that will stop a propsect in his feet. The few words that they are looking for. Once they have been stopped you will need to close.

If they don’t stop you can’t close. Your both wont close them – only stop them.
