With the economic downturn still pressing heavily upon our heads some may think an all inclusive holiday would be the furthest thing from our minds, but with fantastic deals they can turn out to be a lot cheaper in the long run. Imagine a holiday where you donât have to keep a mental tab of your familyâs spending, where you can truly relax and unwind, heaven.
Food is important on a holiday. Throughout the day you will find yourself sourcing food from all over the place, stocking your kitchenette from the local supermarket, buying bottles of water or ice creams on the beach, going out to a local restaurant or staying in at one of the hotels. Either way, a couple of quid here and there and before you know it youâve spent a surprising amount on food. The beauty of an all inclusive holiday is that this doesnât happen. Meals are served throughout the day allowing you to eat and drink to your hearts content without having to worry about the bill at the end. And should you fancy a tipple from the bar, house wines and spirits and local beers are often also included, perfect.
Some all inclusive deals also include local activities to keep you busy between meal times. Some of the popular all inclusive ranches in Arizona and Texas, USA offer complimentary horse riding, hiking and biking within their all inclusive package, whilst some of the Caribbean all inclusive hotels offer water sports during the day such as kayaking, wind surfing and snorkelling, allowing you to get better acquainted with the stunning array of tropical fish and other under sea creatures.
Some hotels donât add anything more than food, but have a unique twist that makes them stand out from the rest. For example the Governors camps in Kenya where you stay in a luxury en-suite tent near the Mara River, teeming with crocodile and hippos. Or the Pinewood village, tucked away on the Kenyan coast on a stretch of sumptuous white sand, the perfect retreat from the hassle of modern life. The Four Seasons tented Camp perched on a jungle hilltop outside of Chiang Mai and many others.
So, if you’ve got a budget in mind and don’t want the whip out the calculator each time you sit down to a meal, all inclusive holidays are perfect.
